• Development of distributed micro-grid solutions with the purpose of supplying and supporting facility power demands through on-site power generation sources. Explored technologies include but are not limited to solar, battery storage, fuel cell, and combined heat and power (CHP), and power generation using gas and multi-fuel technologie
• Power distribution system infrastructure development for the purpose of distributing power that is either generated on-site or provided by a serving electrical utility. This area includes infrastructure required to distribute primary power energy sources for secondary power needs and uses. It includes the infrastructure required to step down power form a serving utility source (13,000V +) to a medium voltage source (4,160V) to low voltage sources (480V and lower)
• Battery storage solutions for power redundancy and backup
• Renewable energy solutions that are mainly focused on the use of solar technologies as an on-site power supply source
• Energy management and control system solutions for the purpose of controlling and monitoring building HVAC infrastructure as well as Central Energy Plant infrastructure
• Heating Ventilation and Airconditioning (HVAC) infrastructure solutions with the emphasis being placed on airside equipment needs, hydronic and general heating systems. Our main focus is the development of system infrastructure whose cooling and heating systems are supplied through distributed Central Energy Plants
